In industrial processes different parameter measurement systems are mounted to optimize and control the process. Housings are a very important part of the whole system as they allow to insert the sensors into the media at a specific place in the process (pipe, vessel or basin). |
Depending upon process requirements and the type of electrode/sensor used (pH/ORP, DO, conductivity, turbidity, CO2), the design and function of the housing can vary considerably. The demands placed on process adaption methods by plant manufacturers, endusers and not least legislation, are numerous, particularly in the interests of process reliability, e.g. sterility/hygiene, and operator safety. METTLER TOLEDO offers, apart from their world-famous Ingold weld-in sockets, a wide selection of housings to cover the manifold requirements of the process industry, from simple static models throughto sophisticated and certified retractable versions for automated sensor cleaning.
